Fleta Marie Stephens

Fleta Marie Stephens, 71, Elkhart, Indiana, died Friday, October 22, 2004 at 4:20 p.m. at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker.  She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, crocheting and writing poetry.
She was born September 7, 1933 in Du Quoin to Carl and Ethel (Clark) Coffel.  She married Russell Stephens on September 9, 1940 in Du Quoin and he survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David (Kerry) Stephens of New Carlisle, Ind., Mikel (Faye) Stephens of Elkhart, Ind. and Timmy (Stacy) Stephens of Mishawaka, Ind.; two daughters, Sherry Zanotti of Elkhart, Ind. and Dru (Mark) Davis of Linwood, N.C.; one sister, Pat (Jerry) Piper of Elkville and one brother, Donald (Emily) Coffel of Joliet.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, George, Carl Jr. and John Coffel and two sisters, Annabell Satterfield and Sarah Pere.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 26 at 11 a.m. at Zimmerman-Inman Osceola Chapel in Osceola, Ind. with Rev. Jerry Piper Jr. (nephew) of Grace Assembly of God in Oklahoma City, Okla. officiating.  Cremation followed services.
Friends called Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home Osceola Chapel.
